Sankara Eye Hospital Samarjhola

Sankara Eye Hospital Samarjhola, Odisha has been set up to provide qualitative and affordable eye care to the needy population of Ganjam District and its surrounding areas. The state -of-the-art hospital provides paying services to those who can afford the same and free services to those who cannot through a rural outreach programme

Sankara Eye Hospital Samarjhola, Odisha has all necessary facilities for comprehensive eye Care, investigations and outpatient treatment, low vision clinic, contact lens clinic, special clinic for children, micro phaco cataract surgeries for spectacle free vision, glaucoma, cornea and retinal services.

The Hospital has been setup with funding received from Tata Steel as part of their CSR initiatives. The Hospital is built on 4.5 acres of land at Samarjhola provided by the State Government on a 99 years lease
